Party Time

We had my son’s 7th Birthday Party on Saturday – he opted to have a bowling party, which was fine by me (No clean up)  The theme – army.  He is really into the army stuff – guns…tanks – the whole sha-bang.

We ordered lil’ man a birthday cake…which should have been on

BUT….I made something really yummy!!!  Reese’s cupcakes…with Peanut butter icing!!!  HOLY yum these are so good!!!  I actually have a step by step for these.  Which I will put into another post (because I forgot to do the icing, and I think the icing is what sends these OVER the top…..that and the chunks of reese’s that are in the batter!)

I even added the little army men – I wish I would have just did all cupcakes….they were the hit – no one hardly touched the cake – it wasn’t worth the $$.

The party was a LOT of fun – the kiddos had a blast!!!  And…..and didn’t have any messes to clean up!!!

About amyt57

I'm a mom to 3 wonderful children, a wife to a awesome husband. I love to read blogs and have been doing so for a while. I started a blog on blogspot a while back - but haven't truly been happy with it - I have wanted a food blog, but do not what to blog about food 3 times a day. This is going to be a for real, in real life blog - as my daughter would say. It may have some recipes, I LOVE to may have some funny sayings my kiddos would say - it may have sports, weight lifting or tips - it's just going to be MY blog - just 'whatever' goes blog. "What would you guys like for dinner?" "CHICKEN NUGGETS!!!!"
